CHECK: In poker, to stay in the match without wagering. This is acceptable only if no other gamblers wager in that round.

CLOSING A BET: As in spread wagering, meaning to lay a wager on par with but opposite of the leading wager.

COLUMN BET: To wager on any of the three columns of a roulette game.

COME BET: In craps, close to a pass-line wager, but made after the hurler has established her number.

COME-OUT ROLL: A crapshooters 1st roll to establish a number, or the 1st toss after a point has been achieved.

COVERALL: A bingo term, meaning to fill all the numbers on a bingo sheet.

CRAPPING OUT: In craps, to toss a two, three or twelve is an immediate defeat on the come-out roll.

DAILY DOUBLE: To pick the winners of the 1st 2 matches of the night.

DOWN BET: To wager that the result of an event will be smaller than the smallest end of the quote on a spread bet, also referred to as a "sell".

DOZEN BET: In roulette, to gamble on any of three categories of 12 numbers, one-12, etc.

EACH WAY BET: A sports bet, which means to wager on a group or player to win or place in a game.

EVEN MONEY BET: A wager that pays out the same amount as gambled, ( 1:1 ).

EXACTA: wagering that 2 horses in an event will complete the race in the absolute same order as the wager – also referred to as a " Perfecta ".

FIVE-NUMBER LINE BET: In roulette, a bet carried out on a group of 5 numbers, for instance 1-2-3-0, and 00.
